Default White noise when in accessory mode.

Has anyone had a problem with what sounds like white noise when the car is in accessory mode? I made sure the radio was off and my AC was off also to eliminate any noise coming from the vents. I actually noticed the noise when I was driving but was able to recreate it by just turning the car off and then putting it into accessory mode. The noise doesn't appear when I only hit the start button once. Any help on this would be great.

Second that!

I'm like WTF is that noise, did I feel foolish when I turned it off.

If you are getting noise in the audio system (in accessory mode), the accessory is probably plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet. If this is the case there is a TSIB to eliminate the noise, works great!

like a whining noise that gets higher pitched when you accelerate?

There is a TSB on this/.... when charger is plugged into Ipod/Iphone as well as plugged into aux port... there is a ground loop. Lexus dealer will fix this for free.

Yup!!! I had the same issue last ... then I felt my privates getting the chills. It was easy for me to figure that out because I was in my boxers when I was pairing my BT phone.
