So for the last few weeks I have noticed this sound coming from a particular part of my engine . At first it would only happen when my car was off . Then it started happening either when the car was off or like if I was idling at a light . Now it just happens whenever it wants which of course means it's getting worse. Has anybody had this same problem or can tell me what this part is called and what it does. Its right in front of the passenger tire

Do you have the air suspension? Could be the air pump.

Yes I do and your right it could be. Sometimes sounds like a compressor or something like you know the sound Nos makes. It also vibrates louder and harder then my engine itself

You might have an air leak some place and its compensating for it. It would have to run with key off if it didn't the suspension would settle down.
