Default 1992 LS400 - Water sound in dashboard

Hi all. I too, like some other poster here recently, have recently heard the sound of water gurling in my dashboard. I have no idea what this is.

My 1992 LS400 has 92,000 miles. It makes this water gurgling sound only at the beginning of the first drive of the morning, and only during the first few tenths of a mile after pulling away from my house. The weather has only recently gotten colder out here, with outside air temps dipping into the 40s. I have never noticed the gurgling sound before.

Incidentally (perhaps), I have also been recently experiencing an air conditioner problem, as described right here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...r-problem.html

Could it be that these two problems are related? I doubt it, but then, I'm not an expert.

Unrelated question: Are the Lexus service manuals and wiring diagram worth buying? If so, where's the best place to get a set?

here's a tip:

if you saw that another person had the same problem you did,
why dont you assume that the same solution posted for him
would work for you?

and another:
someone posted a solution in your other thread, how about trying it out, and posting a response afterwards, instead of just asking for MORE help

Puredrifter:

I started a new thread because while my problem was similar to the other water sound poster's, my problem was not exactly the same. Also, I made reference to another possibly related problem because, as I mentioned, I am not an expert in these things, and so hoped to be able to benefit from the collective wisdom on these boards to make some unseen, esoteric connection that would not be obvious to non-mechanics.

As far as following the suggestions given to me on the other thread by Amskeptic, if you had taken the time to read the entire thread before responding, you would have noted that I had followed amskeptic's suggestions to the letter and provided minute feedback. My last post there noted that I had to step away from that problem momentarily.

Where/why are you so critical?
