Clock spring replacement

Clock spring replacement
My horn doesn't work. First I thought it's probably fuse or relay then I noticed cruise control also doesn't work. A little later I realized airbag light isn't there. I think previous owner removed the bulb. All of this points to a bad clock spring. I will get a used unit soon. Does anybody know how to install it properly? Today I got to removing the steering wheel and clockspring removal looks easy but Don't want to break it during installation. Thanks in advance.

I purchased a new (used) clockspring for my 91 but I haven't installed it yet. My only symptom is the airbag light comes on. After I reset it, it will come back again in days / weeks. It comes back after turning the wheel full lock to lock, so I figure its the clockspring as well.

did you ever replace clockspring? I am wondering the same things as you. I don't want to damage on removal (at wrecker), or on re-install on mine.
i have same symptoms.... airbag light, no horn, no cruise.
