Default 95 LS400: DRLs

Hey,

Quick question about our DRLs. I was reading on how to disable them in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...-in-ucf20.html and it's come to my attention that I don't know, on a 95 LS400, if the DRLs run off a dimmed low beam or high beam bulb. In the post it says it runs off the high beam bulb, but that's for the 98+ LS400. I want to disable them because I want to run a HID kit in my low beam. I heard that DRLs and HID don't mix, as they would wear out the ballasts prematurely (HIDs like to get full power all the time). What do you guys think?

i say pull your DRL relay so you dont have to worry about it....or just look at your car and see if its the low or the high beam bulb that's on.

Would the DRL relay be located in the engine bay's fuse box?
