Big Question about taking my car 2,000 miles??? PLEASE HELP!
Hey everyone, my '95 LS400 has 62,800 miles on it. The manual states the spark plugs need to be changed at 60,000 but I haven't had them done yet. Next week I am driving down to Miami from Virginia (almost 20 hour drive - close to 2000 miles round trip). My dealer, unfortunatley doesn' t seem to be able to get me in before next week to do the plugs so would I be safe in driving that far? Is 5,000 miles past 60,000 ok for the spark plugs???
Please help, I'm in a real dillema.

Actually, the manual states to do a timing belt change at 60,000 miles on our cars, not just the spark plugs. If the car is running fine as of right now then you will be fine so don't worry about it, just take care of it once you return.

Thank you so much for the reply. The car is running real smooth, just like it was on day 1. I actually typoed the 1st post, the car has 62,800 miles so that makes it a little better I guess.
Thanks again Sharp!
