Pumping Gas
New Lexus owner 2015 IS 350 f sport. 2nd time at the gas station and experience this both times. Also it was 2 different gas stations. so the common denominator is me and the car.
I unscrew the gas cap, place the nozzle into the opening (fueling inlet), adjust to get a "good seal," pull the level/handle the fuel will begin to flow but something (i think pressure change) will cause the lever/handle to click off (lever is all the way down or at normal resting position) and the fueling stops or the automatic shut off is activated (lever is pulled all the way up) and fueling stops.
1) I have to tried re-posititioning the nozzle lifting it with a more elevated angle, lowering the angle of the nozzle and holding/turning the nozzle sideways. same problem the automatic shut off is activated (lever is pulled up all the way and fueling stops)
2) removing/re-inserting the nozzle into the opening (fueling inlet) , one hand hold the rubber hose, applying pressure against the fueling inlet while the other hand pulls the lever/handle. same problem the automatic shut off is activated (level pulled all the way up and fueling stops).
So the only way to fuel up my IS is to hold the lever/handle in a "in between" range to get pump to continuously run. I also have to remove and re-insert the nozzle multiple times (about 20) to get approximately 12 gal of fuel.
Whats going on?
What am I doing wrong?
Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks in advance!

Gas station specific. The flow rate may be too high so fuel is splashing around the neck triggering the shutoff. Haven't had this problem with the IS, but did experience it before in my work truck (F-150)
