Rear Headrests Adjust Up Only One Notch?
Why do our rear headrests adjust up only one notch?
There's enough room on the metal posts for there to have been at least one more notch.
The current max height of the headrests do little / nothing to prevent whiplash in the event of an accident, which is the sole reason for them in the first place...

Lexus is not going to re design anything to redesign a part can cost tens of thousands if not millions. how do you know that lexus didn't already test the headrests for safety? maybe a higher rest proved to be less safe than where it is now?
you need to realize that car manufacturers do their best to design a car that will meet the needs of the consumer, will provide the level of safety their consumer expects based on all the lessons learned up to this point.
to a large degree they build the car and roll the dice! i think Lexus did a great job with this car, but no matter how much you complain it simply isn't going to change anything. sure there may be flaws! but they are not going to spend thousands to redesign a part they already have 50,000 of in stock to go into a new car just to make .01% of the population happy!
if that were the case every car would be reworked to 100% perfection in every aspect.
if you don't like the car, sell it and find one you like! there are plenty to pick from!
i personally have never and still don't like anything Ford makes, therefore i have never in 43 years set foot into a ford dealership to negotiate anything or even consider buying one of their products. at car shows i avoid their display because i can't see every car at the show anyway. no sense in spending time there looking at crap i don't want to buy either.
but i don't complain about ford, i just don't buy their products! simple!
i also don't care for Volvo, or dodge, chrysler, Kia, hyundai, (although hyundai has come a long way in recent years) not interested in smart cars or mini coopers either!
