My dealership informed me I can get the RES for my 350 F. Has anyone tried the app or tried the remote engine starter?

Being in AZ, it would be nice for the summer getting the car somewhat cool when opening the door. I'll maybe use the heat two months out of the year so that's not as bad.

I've heard a lot of these systems start the car, then turn it off when you open the door, which doesn't make sense. If you find one that doesn't do that, share here please!

So i negotiated with my dealer to throw in remote start for my car when I purchased it. Needless to sa....I later found out that if you have navigation the remote start is incompatible. I hope in the near future they make this available for cars with Navi!

I have been waiting for months for RES+ to be released for my GS with no avail. A few members of the RX forum have voiced their dissatisfaction with it however. The biggest complaints were the whole car turning off when the door is opened issue and the fact that the app is complete garbage. It doesn't load half the time and the servers are down every other day. I might just suck it up and by the regular RES.
