2007 IS350 Navigation
My navigation on my 07 IS350 is complete *****. I tried using it cause my phones charge was low and every single address I put in it said it didn't exist. I tried my home address, my grandmas address, the mall address, my school address and my business address and none of them worked. Who knows how I could fix this or knows if the Lexus dealership would fix this problem for me. I mean what's the point of having a navigation system if it doesn't even work

It sounds like you don't have the correct region selected. Before you start entering the address or point-of-interest, you need to change the region setting to pick the group of states where those addresses or POIs are located.

How about if you start putting in a destination and start with street name? Does it start offering reasonable choices, like streets with that name somewhere in California? I've stopped trying to put in the house number first, since it screws that up so often. But if I put in the street first, then it offers a range of valid house numbers and I can usually enter something close enough to what I want.
i.e. if the address is
123456-78Ave, and I start by entering 78Ave it will offer 78Ave in my city or something close and I'd select my city. Then it would prompt for valid street address and give me a range, so I could select something on 1234 street.
On a slightly different note, it seems just STUPID to have to select a region. The car has GPS, and IT can't find the right region???? A $50 cell phone can figure it out, why can't a $40,000 car????

First things first... Does it detect your current location? If you were to drive around, does it follow your car's moves? If not then the problem is much bigger than the Nav not working. Maybe the actual GPS module is not being found. IDK how the OEM ones are but the aftermarket ones will tell you if its connected or not
If it is following your car's GPS, then chances are you have the wrong Nav software. For the 2006-2008 there was one software that found GPS by satellite, and another by speed and direction and it cant get a lock on another address because it doesn't know where you are

That's what I thought at first, too. But then I thought "The OP would realize that his own street doesn't show up in the old maps." Right? He'd just see a little red arrow over no street at all?

Please, please, please don't turn this into a never ending debate as to the merits of in-car GPS vs. handheld. Do a search--you'll find plenty of other threads on that (locked or otherwise).

The navi knows my destination while I'm driving, the arrow is always in the right spot so I guess my modules not messed up and I don't think my navi has been updated but I'm not sure since I just bought it but I will try putting in the street first

It could be the dealer loaded a newer not compatible software to keep up to dealer inspection. I would go back and check that the 07 is compatible the firmware that is loaded in your GPS. Maybe if you can roll it back it will fix your issue.
