there are a ton of rumors out there we will see a '16 IS200t, using the same 2.0t in the NX. i'm leaning toward that option, first of all there are a lot of random battery drain issue on the '14 3IS, hopefully by model year 2016 they can work out that and some other kinks. secondly, the 3.5L V6 is the best V6 i've ever driven, powerful, underrated in fuel economy, but it's long in tooth, debuted back in 2005 as the '06 IS350, i have a feeling Lexus gonna do something to that motor on the '16 IS when the turbo 4 version comes out. my daily commute is 60 miles, so 2.0t variant makes more sense to me, i can't wait.

Not the same, NX is FWD based, the 2.0T for the RWD IS, RC and GS will be altered and supposedly will have closer to 250hp.

that's even better, it's the same motor, they'll just tune it differently for the rwd models
