Does anybody know how to remove an IS grill? I have an 09 IS250 am trying to take it off so I can get it painted. I hear it's a pain to do but does any body know or have an suggestions on how to do this? Thanks.

When i removed mine I had to remove the front bumper makes it easier to access the tabs below...Not really sure there is another way, 06-08 i here you can do it without removing bumper tho.

You have the pull the grill out from the bottom of the grill there are clips to hold it also the each side of the grill has clip too. Be careful when you remove it or you might scratch your bumper. Good luck

Lower grill
I've seen a few posts in the past with varying information about this, but can anyone confirm that the lower bumper grill can be removed and reinstalled without completely removing the bumper?

The grill is very easy to remove without taking the bumper off, just use blue painters tape on the bumper around the grill when removing and installing the grill it to prevent scratches , took me 15 mins to do mine good luck

Thanks for the confirmation! Are any tools needed to unclip or pry, or can it all be done by hand?
