I’ve had the same problem and I’ve had pretty much everything replaced that has to do with the suspension, including all around struts, coils, control, arms, tie rods, shocks, cv axles, all bushings, etc. I still have the noise as well as the car drifts especially on the highway. I have noticed looking from behind recently that the left rear seems to be lower as if there is more weight on that side in the trunk. But there is nothing in the trunk. I am at a loss and ready to sell it.

Default Rear clunking

I know how you feel. This car was not my first choice, but it is clean and the price was right. I was actually looking for an LS or ES, but the asking prices were ridiculous for the mileage. To be honest, I've done the front and rear suspension and I've gone as far as I'm going to go. By the time I'd have replaced everything, I might as well have purchased an LS or ES. Don't get me wrong, I like the car, but with the sticky dash and door panel issue, plug fouling, brakes, suspension etc. It can be frustrating. Lexus dropped the ball on a car that should have had better build quality. The mods have also made the car more fun to drive. I did an axle back mod, intake tube, air box mod, Roar Pedal mod, oil catch can, NGK laser Iridium plugs and new ignition coils. The car breathes better and is way more responsive. Why couldn't Lexus have made it more punchy from the get go? Who knows? I'll drive it and keep it clean and eventually I'll start looking for something else.
