system check alert
Turning into my driveway last night when I heard the little ding, looked at the read out and saw an exclamation mark with the words system check. Turned the engine off, restarted it and got the same indication. Does anyone know what this is?

Thank you! I suppose I could use my advanced age as an excuse but I won't. When I read your post I returned to the car to search for lights and discovered the low tire pressure emblem. I will take it from there. I certainly imagined much worse. Again, thanks.

When a tire is low on pressure the car warns you with the red exclamation mark and the low tire icon, but instead of system check it says "Low Pressure". Try leveling your tire's pressure to see if that fixes it.
If not, it may be a problem with one of your TPMS. Did you change your wheels/ tires by any chance?

Changed tires six months ago. checked all tire pressures this morning and found two at 33 psi. Aired everything up alarm still indicated. Turned **** where it said main, pushed **** and alarm went away. is this the way it is supposed to work. At what pressure does the alarm normally sound?

This happened to me before, your car might be thinking your driving on spares.
Next to the steering wheel (towards door) there are 3 buttons (2 arrows and center click), click the center button, then arrow over to tire select and if its on 2nd click select and then restart the car. Hopefully that works for you.
