Default hid fog prob?

bought 9006 hid kit for the fogs 4300k. and worked great untill 1 week of use my passenger fog light decided to change color to purple very slowly. it was the ballast so the seller sent a new one. worked great again and 1 week later started again. so i know its not the seller or ballast, but why does it keep doing that just on one side? any advice would be great.

probably bad batch of ballasts. same can happen with bulbs. but more than likely its because its a cheap no name brand HID set

Switch the bulb or the ballast and see if the color changing follows the bulb or ballast.

check out xenon depot. he's a vendor on this forum and gives discounts to members. just received my volt kit with "improved" ballast and it looks great. another option is ddm, both sell slim ballast though.

Thanks for the recommendation guys! We carry 35W digital slim ballast with the Xtreme HID kit and the Volt HID kit. There are both great quality HID kits but the Xtreme is our premium kit so it does feature a ASIC Germen Processor in the ballast which makes it more efficient.

If you use coupon code "CL" you get an additional $25 off any XenonDepot HID kit!
