Default New Fog 9006 HID Kit **no ballast to hide**

Just saw this auction on ebay for some new 9006 Fog HID Kit that is an all in one ballast with bulb 6000K or 8000K. This would be great if it fit in the Fog light area. Question for those that have convert their fog to HID.

Do you think there is enough room for this project?

Thanks in advance

That is actually a really good idea. I wonder if anyone has this yet.

That's really a great idea, I would have given these a try on my fogs, but I already ordered a kit.

Can't see how these wouldn't work well. pretty simple, ballast have been getting smaller and smaller lol. I wouldn't put these on my fogs though as I just ruined my HID bulbs in some flooded Miami streets . I wouldn't want my ballast being damaged as well.

Function is not an issue, the idea is good. However, I was wonder if it will fit in the foglight compartment? Has anyone convert your fog to HID? Is there enough space to do this installation?

Thank nmpeter, I would purchase this so I don't have to take off bumper or run line to batter/ballast. Thanks for the input. Will pull the trigger when I get paid.

You don't need to take off the bumper to install HID fogs. Very easy install but this will be even easier.

Looks cool, but it's so easy to mount a regular slim HID kit (at less than half the price) as it is, so personally I would have no use for it

But a good idea nonetheless. I hope the b ulb is a regular bulb, so if it fails you can replace just the bulb and not the entire ballast/bulb unit too. the way aftermarket bulbs fail...

I love advertisements for HIDs. The before/after pics where the after pic is given a much higher exposure, making the entire thing brighter, not just the light (look at how bright that sky is!)

hahahah

I think that pic was at Teastation in Alhambra, CA, not sure though. And Phil used Xenon Depot too... not this "Syber Team" brand. I wonder what the doctor has to say about that

only down side is if the bulb goes out then you have to replace 2 things instead of 1...
