painting headlights, (what color)?
I will be taking apart my headlights soon to paint the bezels. I was wondering what color do you think would look good. My IS350 is the Blue Onyx color so I was thinking of painting the bezels the Blue Onyx color or a black satin color. What do you guys think? Any other colors?

ApokC's MRM ones are on page 2
and I guess it was javyLSU who had 'em painted white (page 3)
Looks like one member did blue too

Cracking mine open to paint them black. I think it will just look more sleek. That and I'm black onyx (202). I humored the idea of a diff color but just trusting that black will be what I'm looking for.

pre heat your oven to 425 carefully put your headlight in and let it bake for about 12 min, take it out and pry it open with a flat head be sure to put some tape on the tip of that flathead and slowly and carefully wedge it in to pull it apart, after pulling it apart unscrew the housing clean it with alcohol and dry it off before you paint, use primer, and high temperature paint, I did 1 coat of primer and 3 coats of paint on my other headlights, let it dry about 20 min in between each coat spray lightly and not too close. after youre done painting let it dry for about an hour before putting it back together. then rebake at the same temp, and time to ensure that you close it tightly reseal with clear silicone rubber sealant. After you bake it pull it out and press all the way around the headlight again firmly to make sure its nice and tight and let it sit and dry for about another 30-40 min then reinstall
