Yep, it slices through metal no problem. Put a large rag to catch the metal particles though! I want a F-Sport shift **** haha.. will have to wait awhile. My $735 purchase a couple weeks ago (F-Sport sway bars, intake, steering damper). went by without the wife saying anything.. lay low for awhile lol.
haha I know the feeling, I just purchased a roof spoiler without her consent......LMAO at our ***** being given to our wives in a glass far after we say "I do".
Hey I'm going to do this since my new shift **** is the same size as the stock one. I have a saw I can use, just curious, did you just cut down the threading lower and your shift **** threaded on fine? I too am scared of cutting mine.

I did cut mine. My **** threaded on fine. At first I thought it wouldn't but after some weight on the top of the **** while twisting it down, it took. Good luck.
Thanks for the quick reply. How much threading did you leave on there? It looks like to get it where I want I'm only going to have like 1/2-3/4 inch left.

I have literally 3 threads left... I REALLY hacked mine down.
I have about 1/8 of an inch of thread on mine
