okay installed a new stereo today and had problems removing the shifter ****, I know want a new one as I tore the leather but I searched for removal and that search yeilded nothing. So how do you remove the shifter **** for an automatic 1992 SC300?

 

Pretty sure this has been covered immensely...... Put car in neutral (ebrake ON).. at the base, pull the hard plastic sleeve down to expose 2 screws.
