Default Best "under the hood" acc+ wire to tap??

Guys, I am trying to hook up something into my car that will only turn on when the car is on and off when the car is off. I have searched thru all of threads and no one seems to have a clear answer. I have tried the thick white wire in the fuse box on the drivers side and it's an always on wire. Even when the car is off. anyone have any clue?? Thanks guys

Start with a voltimeter checking wires one by one playing at the same time with the button you usually push to start the car without turning car on only so you go to accesory mode, g luck..

if you have your radio on at all times you could try that, but theres no reason as to why you shouldn't be able to use the ACC fuse. have you tried the passengerside fusebox?

on the driver's side box you can tap the seat heaters that will only come on when you start the car. on the pass side you could always tap the cig lighters

open your engine, on the drivers side you'll see a box with 3 10mm bolts holding the top down. Its right next to the fuse box where you can pull the ecu fuses.

In there, the plug closest to the front of the car, is a6 I believe. Pin number 5 (thicker black/red wire) is a 12v engine on/off wire. I use it on my o2 sim so it turns off when the car is off.
