Key Fob Replacement Only
Okay searched over lots of threads about people losing their Fob's and key, but never anything about just the Fob, without the key. When I purchased my car, it came with one FOB, and 2 of the keys. Is it possible to just purchase a fob of eBay and pop the extra key in it....or will I need to have it programmed still?

The mechanical key is just for opening the drivers door or trunk when the fob battery goes dead -- it has no electronics in it. If you buy a new fob, you'll still need to have the car programmed to recognize it. If you buy a used fob, you'll have to have the dealer reset the system and reprogram both keys into the car (at a higher cost).
