Hey guys i'm new to this forum and the Lexus club. First post here.

I recently brought a 2006 IS350. I wanted some help to figure out some problems. First of all my cd player doesn't load CD's. I press the load button and nothing happens, no noise, no lights..nothing. Secondly the car keeps saying check system for TPMS. I don't have a spare in the trunk and was wondering whether that could be causing it. I'm not sure whether or not the spare tire has a sensor. If that is the problem, does anyone know where would be the cheapest place to get a doughnut?

do you have aftermarket wheels?
they may not have TPMS in them.

Default No!

No, I do not have aftermarket rims. Still the oem rims on there. In fact, I put all new tires and two the rims are brand new. I had even gone to the Lexus dealership, where they made the light go away, but it cam back in two days.
Its just frustrating.

Well I would say you should probably take it back to the dealer and have them check it out...you could speculate all day long what MIGHT be wrong..

The spare does not have a sensor so it's not that. Try setting the TPMS to the secod setting. The car can hold two sets of sensors, may be on the wrong one. Left hand side two arrows and a middle enter button
