how do I remove this? (rear dome light and sharkfin)
I was told that if i remove this plastic cover from the headliner, i can gain access to the shark fin so I can unbolt and remove it.
Btw, I found a way to take off that lens cover without prying it and denting the plastic. I used the suction cup from the GPS holders and put it on the cover, then pulled out. Worked like a charm and no damage. Too bad I figured out this method AFTER I dented it..... Whatever, whats done is done.
Anyway, if anyone knows how to remove this thing.. please tell me.
Thanks,
Matt

I guess I should let you guys know, if case anyone wants to unbolt the shark fin.
Thanks to demik ^^^, i was able to take that thing off.
Once it's off, the bolt holding the sharkin is located slightly further in towards the trunk direction. So it isn't directly under the dome light. Just pull the headliner slightly down, and you will be able to access it.
The sharkfin is only held down by 1 bolt (huge bolt) and 1 wire. So just unplug and unbolt. After thats done, there is 2 clips thats holding the sharkfin into the roof, so just use something to depress those clips and have someone pull the sharkfin out for you from the outside. There is not glue or anything holding the sharkfin onto the roof, so no worries. it's strictly unbolt and take off.
hope this helps clarify some things for those who want to remove their shark fin. I had vinyl put on the roof and sharkfin afterwards.
