It comes on and then goes away. I got rims and tires changed a couple weeks ago. Do I need to reset something? Should I take it in?

Need to be more specific what warning it is. Is it check engine light, warning from the LCD screen?

the warning is on the little gauge where it has the gear position, or temp screen. the light comes on with a beep and exclamation mark

Do you put the tire pressure sensor on the new wheels? If not there is your problem it is looking for the sensor info.

Sounds like a TPMS system error for either underinflation or the codes are not recognized. I would simply take it in for a formal diagnostic. As stated by slee18, make sure to specify which indicator on the analogue guage cluster is illustrating a warning.
