I agree with you. I hate the fact that Lexus doesn't offer blackwood as an option with the black leather interior (at least when I got my GS).

Well I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to wait to see it the 09 IS come with a different color wood trim... Only because I would rather OEM rather then aftermarket wood trim....

I have to say, that black wood trim would really accent the gray and black interior IS's very nicely. I have never seen that in a LS or GS and I would like Lexus to offer that in an 09 like almacruel stated. Their would probably be a bunch or group buys on here.

Definitely!!! Im waiting to purchase my '09 IS and I hope they have the Gray birds eye trim!!! Its much nicer. (the auburn maple doesnt accent as well as the gray) - as brian said before.

My mom's E350 has that trim.. I think it would look ..different in a 2IS deff with black leather though.. not with tan!
