I have a Genie Intellicode garage opener. I haven't been able to get Homelink to work. I tried on both the GS400 and my wife's IS300 and it just doesn't want to work. Anybody got any suggestions I would greatly appreciated it. I know this is a 2nd gen IS thread but hey I need help.

Try getting new batteries in the remote first. I have a Genie, and that's what solved my problems
You only need NEW Batteries if your Clicker is NOT working at all....

Both work perfectly with the Homelink..
- when you slowly folllow the step-by-step instructions in the owners manual.
In a nut shell, first you program the clicker to your home link button by pressing & holding both buttons till the little light flashes (follow directions in manual), then you hit the learn button on the above garage opener unit and then press and hold the homelink button in the car that you just programmed to the clicker... you know it works as soon as the garage light bulb flashes.

That was not my experience. My clickers all worked, and the HomeLink blinked to indicate that it "learned" the remote, but the whole process, which I tried countless times, did not work until I put a fresh battery in the Genie remote--then it worked on the first try.

yea...i have a genie one too...and i can't get it to work on the 2IS...
I keep on going back to the garage motor to push the learning button then rush back the IS to program it...but it won't work!
The RX, GS, Toyota Prius was easy...but can't get it to work for the IS...
Park it in the garage some instructions dont work like camberlin garage door. You have 30 second to program it. I remember i had to press the button like twice before it stored the code. Follow joe Z instructions that should make it work.
