Black/Black Chrome Badges
Does anybody know any dealers in SoCal offering these for the 2IS, I know you can DIY but I wanted to actually purchase them as a gift for a friend (and myself a set when my 2IS arrives) as a birthday present. I know there was a thread with links to an image of them but no info on availability etc. The dealer i ordered my IS from (westminister) currently does not have any.

i would try to buy them online and take them to the dealer to install. i couldn't do it myself, or wouldn't want to.
you might not have enough time though.
definately look tight though!

I have black pearl badge on my IS. my girlfirend bought it for me from her brother who works for Bob Baker Lexus. Unfortunately they only had two sets and the other set went to the service manager. I had to exchange the old badges I think they do that to make new ones.. I will post pictures tonight when I have time.

Is this for all the badges? Or just the words "LEXUS" and "IS350"? Can anyone confrim if these have wholes under the badges or if they are just stuck on the car? I know many other cars the main "L" logo has wholes but usally the model is just stuck on there with 3M tape. Is this true for this car?

There was a thread before regarding 'de badging' and i beleive it was posted that there are holes for the 'L' and 'lexus' also that the 'is350' were individual pieces.
edit: I found the old thread now if we can find a place with bulk availability or perhaps gauge CL interest to order bulk for our member

So let me get this straight you pay like $350 for these badges and they put some type of paint or coating, then you have to give them your old ones back, talk about a rip off. You can get all of your wheels refinished for almost the same price.

Any badges are expensive even the normal chrome "L" is like $35 each. I asked the gf and she said she paid $250 but not sure if that was with the refund, she needs to ask her brother. They are expensive and probably would not have bought them for myself. But I guess its a good thing if they were cheaper everyone would have them
