Snow Tires?
I just recently got an IS300, as some people might've seen from my post earlier this month. I live in eastern, CT, therefore there's going to be a lot of snow coming really soon.. I know my car is going to be horrible in the snow, so I want to do everything I can do to keep myself and my car safe all winter. Does anyone have any personal preference on snow tires, and/or have any for sale? I'm willing to buy used, but obviously they need to have good tread and everything. Please let me know! thank you!
PS, i noticed there's a "snow" button next to the Power button near the shifter, what exactly does that do? Is there really any difference when you turn the snow option on?

Big difference with the snow button on, throttle is limited to a maximum of 60%, though it will limit it even more than that depending on available traction, it also limits downshifting as well...
as far as snow tires - Bridgestone Blizzaks have the best reputation for sure, but there are other good ones, such as Michelin and Nokian...

For the last two years i put on my studded pirelli winter carving tires on the rear. I couldnt climb a hill on my way to work and spun out and slid down. I ran studded on my two wheel drive truck and I never got stuck. I went with stock size on my sportcross, and now I am unstoppable..lol. Good luck

I have an is300 with blizzak tires and they are great in the snow. By having snow tires on the front it allows you to have more control when turning or braking. Get all 4 snow tires for the winter
