IS 300 from Finland with rarities
Back to Lexus after an odd bmw and a Jeep. This bad boy needs a bit of work, but it's not the most common edition in Europe.
Factory installed Bilstein/eibach -combo (very rare and made for this car at this ride height), BBS RX 18" -wheels, TTE sport output for the downpipe and a Torsen LSD.
The 300 never shipped to Finland through official channels (since it had a price tag of around 60k€ I think it was close to 80k in dollars back in 2002). Yeah, we have a really nice car taxation. This one came from Germany and I can tell you that the government reminded once again a used car buyer with a nice tax bill.
Anyways, here are the pix:
Ordered a new stock grill, next weekend it gets new paint for the hood, both bumpers and all the dents get professionally fixed. Also a proper polish about 30 days later coming up. Everything stays stock otherwise for now.
Technically there's nothing wrong with it except a metallic clinging sound coming somewhere from the rear when driving on bumpy/harsh roads. Taking to a Lexus mechanic next week and we'll see what's wrong.

Thanks for the nice comments!
There's stil work to do as I'm dropping the car to an autoshop in about an hour and preparing it for the new paint (painter starts his work next week). I'll get pics in two-three weeks (leaving to vacation after next week and the car won't be done by then).
This one has the headlight washers, all finnish cars with xenon-headlights are required by law to have them. Go figure...

The paintwork (atleast the painting part) is finished but somebody managed to drive over my headlight washer while the car was being worked on... So still a lot to do:
-The sound is coming from the rear right either spring/shocks or brakes, so those need to come off and under inspection
-New headlight washer to the right
-Proper polish after a few weeks
-Tint to all windows except the windshield
Then it's done and the summer is pretty much over.
Oh and it would look really even nicer with 19" BBS LM or Work VS xx -wheels...

Black especially with this car is madness as a DD. I use the car only a few times a week and it's still a pain in the *** to maintain; you need to polish it properly, wash it properly and freaking wash the thing pretty much every time you have taken it out for it to look good. But it's still -- if looked after -- a real head turner... Not that I care about that much, but it seems to get a lot of attention everywhere I take it.

Ok couldn't leave it there so I had some help and a PDR (paintless dent removal) and a full proper polish was finished this weekend.
Here are the pics:
Right shock is making noice, so that needs to come off and under inspection. Still the window tint when we have time and... If I get no buyers and I have work as much as right now -- then it's turbo time next summer. I can't register the car after a turbo, but... oh well, it's cheaper than buying a new car anyways.
Thanks again for the compliments everyone!
