Default Sensor lever on the front strut?

I saw it there the other day when I had the front wheels off. What is it for. it looks like it reads the travel of the front strut. It's only on the driver's side.

Its for the headlights. Helps keep them level on the road as the car raises and dips.

It's not in the engine bay, it's like on the control arm I think. I only noticed it and don't remember exactly how it was setup. I'll try to take a picture later.

Is there a proper way to aim the headlights? because my Passenger side is lower then my driver side. This isn't a JDM...

I think some people have manually adjusted them but from the factory it has "auto" leveling headlamps.

1 is suppose to be higher than the other. Couldn't remember which side, when it gets dark out I'll look at mine.

the light auto adjusts, but if the housing is off, the light won't auto adjust to the correct spot. The driver side should be lower as not to blind oncoming traffic.

Then its something more then the headlight. Car may have been in a wreck. Could be front radiator support assy and or fender.
