IS200's are 2.0L i-6. 114kW@6200rpm (about 153bhp) and 195Nm/4600rpm. they are avail in 6sp manual or 4sp auto transmission. the sports version costs about £20,265.00 which is about 28,800 USD.

my IS200
yes the UK list price is around £20000,however as im now on my 3rd. Lexus sees me as a 'valued customer' so got this one for £17000 the power readings after the s/c is fitted are 225 bhp @6200 min and the torque goes up 27% from 195nm to 247nm however TTE (they build toyota,s rally cars and there fomula 1 car) have said that when its all been run in they will look at doing some adjustments! the biggest gains are in its launch speeds
from 0 to 100kmh by 2.2 sec (0 mph----63 mph)
from 40 to 120kmh by 3.2 sec (25mph----75 mph)
from 40 to 160kmh by 7.9 sec (25mph----100mph)
so there is a large improvement in torque however the inline 6 is not well catered for and i feel that most of my work will have to be one offs,TTE still use a moded panel filter housing where as i want a cone so i may have to have a carbon fibre cover made for the engine top because it looks pants with all the cables on top.
mine is a manual sport,in white(jap road racer look) i have had a sapphire blue and a astral black all with black leather/alacantera and trd bodykits,i was looking at getting a IS300 but the Euro spec versions all have wood trims NOT TO MY TASTE,

Re: my IS200
Hey besides the TTE supercharger have u considered aftermarket superchargers?. When I first go tmy IS200 in 1999 i asked about the power gain for a supercharger. The shop quoted me 157KW.. and costs around AUD9000. The TTE is more expensive and the power ratio is not as much. But at least you can get TTE over there.. In Australia we can only private import or go aftermarket.
Anyway pls tell us the details of ur car when all the mod has been done.
I've currently only changed my final gearing to 5.1 from the original 4.1. Maybe you can add that to your car also!
Oh yeah nice colour wheel combo! white with TE37 (white I presume). If you haven't go the wheels yet, you should try Yokohama AVS model 5 bronze wheel for your car.. looks much better than TE37s.
Which TRD kit u have? I have the Neo customize.. the grey one in the IS gallery...
