I just sold my Lexus GS 350 to my friend who owns a dealership and he thinks the A/C fan doesn't blow hard....I've owned the car for 3 years and never thought there was a problem, but just last week my girlfriend commented about the same thing.

Luckily this isn't my problem since the car is gone, but, I'm still curious if this has been discussed such as Lexus keeps the fan lower than other cars just because it's Lexus...or, these cars often lose a gear in the a/c fan or something?

during my ownership it remained the same so I never noticed a reduction in how fast the air blew.

I've not heard of such an issue, personally.

driving that vehicle over time it would be difficult to realize the slowly gradual decrease in blowing power due to the filter collecting dust. thats my guess!

Yeah the 3GS fans are pretty weak sauce, only in terms of blowing though, not temperature wise. I saw a significant difference when I hopped into a Benz with both a "lowest" . I also clean and changed all the filters etc. Oh well, no biggie to me.
