Default OEM Brake Squeaking Low-Speed

This is driving me crazy, and its almost embarrassing at 'very' low-speed braking. While braking at very low speads (towards the end of a stop), I get squeaking with light pressure braking. Then, yesterday it finally drove me insane. It was a lot louder than normal. Only thing different was that it was alot hotter than usual. It would squeak, as I lift off the brake lightly (while still applying pressure) to inch the car forward in traffic. I had always noticed a faint squeaking, but its now louder than what I grew accustomed to.

The dealership who installed my brakes 9800 miles ago, says there was a 'glazing', And they can't fix it (polish), because its drilled rotors. I have no idea what they're on about. I was wondering if anyone can decipher Service Adviser gibberish.

Pretty common with the F but your sounds worse . I would get it up to about 80-90 and slam the brakes . It may remove some of the glazing . Worked for my G35 back in the day. Go from 80-59 or even 40 and repeat . Should help a little .

Ive done 6 track days in 10 months with the same rotors and have had no issues with noise other than a faint squeak rarely

No on the post above. But your brakes probably were never properly bedded. Follow this procedure:

I found out when replacing my pads for the same problem that the silicone between the shims and pads had completely dried up so the shims were just moving around in there. Try adding some more of that brake anti squeal compound and see if that works.

ended up putting in Stoptech brake pads all around... not a single noise since.

Sounds similar to what I am describing . Difference between bedding in and removing the glaze . You already have glazing . If you can remove the wheels and scuff them a little . If not try a few hard brake applications . It's always worked for me

Funny. Mine started doing it today but stopped shortly after. Just had mine checked and the tech said the rotrs and pads are still ok. In the end they will always blame it on the high performance brakes or just blame the driver . I know there was a TSIB on the rear pads but the car had to be under original warranty

I just started having this problem recently as well. I have stop tech pads, I took them apart today and cleaned them thoroughly and re applied the anti squeak on the shims. Went for a short drive with a mixture of stopping patterns seemed to be fixed. Will see later on if it returns or not.

That's crazy. I had a friend stand outside of my car while I was inching the car forward with brake-pressure. They said its coming from my Rear-Passenger side.

I'm going to bring it in for this TSIB.
