Default Help! ISF having a hard time starting

hey everyone, lately the car has been weird during start up (normally after a drive). So today I drove to the gas station to fill up and when I went back into the car to start it, you can hear the pistons turning and keeps turning with no firing up. After maybe 10 seconds I turned it to off position and did it again and it fired up. Has anyone heard of this issue before? My last mod was the rr tune. But not quite sure whether it was a coincidence or a cause.
Out of all the cars and lexus I've owned I never really had this problem. The only time I've experience this was with a twin turbo car, it would crank for a very very long time before firing up. Maybe it's a high powered car problem?

Thanks in advance.

this is a weird one, it sounds like it could be a fuel delivery / quality issue or a spark issue

we need some info

What year ?

how many miles ?

if past 60k when were spark plugs done. ?

ths gas you've been using where do you normally get it from ? and have you switched stations recently ?

64k mileage, 2009, and I normally get shell and 76 gas. That is a good question about the spark plugs. And it does sound like a fuel distribution issue. Maybe carbon build up? I'm still trying to figure it all out.

i'd pull one of the spark plugs, and take a good look and smell of it .. if it all seems dandy cool .. next step.

any check engine lights ???

I'm surprised nobody said battery before the spark plugs. If it's the original battery, probably time to replace it. If it isn't, still get it checked.

^^This...... Check your battery and the battery terminals. I had that issue before and it was both a bad battery and corrosion on both positive and negative terminals.

OP - easy check is the needle sweep at start up.

Low Battery is usually indicated when the speedo needle(s) do not sweep all the way at start up

Had a similar issue a couple months back. Does your battery voltage meter begin from the lowest setting and rises up to the middle level as you drive around? If so, it definitely is the battery. Start up also sounded weak/slow with my old battery. After I replaced the battery, start up is so much stronger and quicker.
