I have always heard that the KWs are soft, Ohlins are awesome, and the Penskes are the best. One member here has had multiple set up ( not BC) and he said the RR Racing/Penske is the best.

Exactly the hesitation I had before buying. Ended keeping the 16-10 because didn't want to take the risk of having a under damped coilover. Even now, not really sure the rear could take more rate.

I paid 2000$ canadian dollar for the HKS....
Penske is at 4000$ USD, over double the price...

Just not apples to apples.

Agreed, Penske's/Ohlins are the cream of the crop if you have the cash for them, next down would be the KW's, but like Mike (Figs) said when he talked to them they admitted that they are under dampened for the ISF so........? And then the HKS Hypermax would be next price wise then the BC's are the budget entry but things might be different later on this year as Mike (Figs) said they are going to start providing shock dynos which should help eliminate some of the uncertainty with quality.

Good to know and kind of what I was thinking if I end up going with the HKS coil overs is to stick with the 16/10k

This morning I tried 10-7 from full hard. Lot better for "jarring" effect and tolerable as far as stiffness.
The rear is more "tail happy" which I like (remember I have the ATS lsd which help the rear end). Will try 7-7 next time.

Personally like the RS-R on mine. The rear was stiffer than I expected and overall a great ride.

RS-R offers 12/9 spring rates.
12 seems way too soft in the front for the F

Just curious, what were your thoughts of the factory HKS settings: 15/15 from full stiff?

Little bit too soft for me. Not responsive enough.
It's a nice setup for casual driving but this car is my toy, I'm not into casual cruising.
The DGR were 19/15 spring rates and they were ok with me just under dampened.

I think my ultimate setup would be the Penske but I don't have the budget.
