eBay - Skipper Style Lip?
Any have experience purchasing this lip, or purchasing replicas on eBay in general? Is it worth saving up the money for the real thing?

All eBay knockoffs don't fit perfectly in general. But you can get them to line up pretty good to a certain extent. You need help from a friend to keep tugging pulling the lip and hold it in place tightly then you have to go underneath and screw in all the stress points. My aimgain style front lip turned out pretty good. Not perfect but happy.

I was using the product called "back to black" it's a silicone spray of sorts you can get it at Pep Boys and it worked really well and lasted quite long I would recommend using this

Do you have to remove the lip before applying? Cause what if it gets on the paint?

A heat gun and some patience will help the spoiler to conform the way you need it to.
After installing an eBay trunk lid spoiler this weekend made of PU, the heat gun was literally the only way to go.
I'm looking for a spoiler like the one above, and will be breaking out the heat gun once again.

I got the same ebay lip Moonsin has. Once this lip breaks, i'll get the iKon model.
The lip is far from perfect. I had to remove the bumper and drill my own holes, create retainers with screws and use 3m double sided molding tape to hold it up. I wrapped mine in 4D CF from VViViD.
I did not mind the fake CF and PU front lip as dips and driveways will destroy the lip. Will get REAL carbon fiber for the rear and side.

I purchased a 2'x5' wrap, 3m primer 94 and 3m edge sealer. I cut the wrap into 1'x5' strips and did the lip in two pieces making it line up in the middle. On my next lip, I'm going to do two pieces but face each cf pattern opposite from each other where it lines up in the middle. I saw this design on a real CF lip at the autoshow on an alfa romeo giulia and it looks much better.

Similar Idea but not the same, Skipper has more rounded edges while the one you have has too many sharp lines.
The Ikon one is pretty close copy minus some parts you dont see on the bottom. I have both the Skipper Ikon Copy as well as the Genuine Skipper lip.
