Winter Wheels.. size matters?
So I've got a set of winter wheels that are only a year old that is 215/55-17 that I used on my 2014 Altima. I just purchased my 300 F-Sport and loving it.. but I'm not sure if these tires could fit. It's recommended that if I go to 17 inches that I get 225/45-17 or 235/45-17.
Any tire experts on the forum? Will I be able to put these on or do I have to go scouting for new tires?

I was actually curious about this as well. I have a set of my wheels off of my WRX that I still own, four wheels/tires: 17x8, 55 offset, 235-45-17 tires. I think 55 offset might be too close to the brake caliper though. I was looking in the wheel/tire combination thread and couldn't see anyone running closer than 45 offset. The other question is, would it be noticable difference riding around with 235 width on the back versus 255 now? The AS3 is a stickier tire than the Nankang crap I have on there now (especially in the wet, cold), so I don't think it would be too bad.
My other option was to take the tires off of the wheels and buy a new set of 17 inch wheels and put them on there, they are michelin a/s3s, so its a shame to sell them in perfectly good condition
Does anyone know whether the TPMS off of a WRX would work on a Lexus? Are those universal?
