My mechanic buddy who specializes in Lexus ans was a master tech before opening his own shop said front suspension components fail on the LS and it's an expensive repair with 9 parts per side. That said, if someone offered me an LS with 13K miles for $25K and no interest, I'd be on it like flies on shyte.

Congratulations, excellent choice! And you can always switch to IS350 a bit later, perhaps when the new generation arrives in a few years. I wish I had some LS460 time under my belt!

If I had this decision to make I would have gone with the LS460, too. That's an awesome deal that is hard to pass up. And, if you decide to mod it, it'll look amazing. I've seen modded LS's and they are very impressive-looking.
