Default Unlocking doors?

Have a quick question, you guys know how when u have ur keys in ur pockets or whatever and place ur hand behind door handle and it unlocks drivers side door? How do I get other doors to unlock from the drivers side? I always have to unlock my then open door and press button to unlock for passengers.

Thanks

I was just about to start a new thread on this topic haha! I basically have the same question. Well its not for me, my friend has a 3is f-sport and whenever he unlocks his driver door (keys in pocket) his doesnt unlock the rest of the doors. Ive always wondered why? I have a 3is base model and when i unlock my driver door (keys in pocket) it'll unlock all doors... its weird.

I know on my ES, the front door only unlocks that door. The rear door unlocks all. Have you tried that?

You can change it in the user settings. The attached doc has all the different things you can change and those that only the dealer can change for you.

I believe it can be changed via the settings menu.

my dealer told me that if you hold down the lock and unlock buttons on your remote for 8 seconds it changes the settings on the remote. It should unlock all doors whenever you hit the unlock button. I haven't tried it so I can't confirm if it works or not

For my IS250, all doors are unlocked by default when it's in parking mode .
The manual states that you can change it to a different mode in 'Vehicle Settings' on the vehicle.

I do know that If you open the passenger side door first with the key in your pocket it will unlock all doors. At least thats how my 2006 was my 2015 IS seems to be the same. Somewhat Irrelevant to the OP but just an FYI. Thats only logical if you have a passenger though obviously.

Yep, just sit in the car with at least one door open, (car off) and hold both lock& unlock on key fob for about 10 seconds. It will make a beep noise when done.
