Default Any way to fit auto tilting wing mirrors on IS250?

Is there any way to fit auto tilting wing mirrors on an IS250 by buying from the Lexus parts depot?

I thought all Lexus IS came with motorized mirrors. Do you mean auto tinting?

Sorry, I meant auto tilting wing mirrors when Reverse is engaged.

i believe the luxury and sport packages for isx50 models came with this feature.
just have to make sure the mirror switch (to adjust them) is not in the center.

if you dont have luxury or sport model dont know if you can easily modify your mirrors for the tilt feature.
as you will need to add a motor and wire it accordingly i would think

I believe the auto-tilting for reverse is handled by the memory seats control. Since it remembers where to put the mirror back when you take it out of reverse. I bet the mirror itself is the same, its all the memory seat components you'd need to do a conversion.

He'd need all the parts, including the BCM. The cost adds up fast, def not worth it. Better to find a car with those features already. I looked into this myself after I bought mine and ended up regretting finding one without the Luxury package.

Thanks guys. I'll give auto dipping wing mirrors on reverse a pass as far as aftermarket installation goes...

I'm not sure if you are aware but the auto tilt only works if your mirror adjusting switch is set on right or left. It does not work when neither are selected.

Oh wow, I wonder if mine has this then? I never have my mirror set to a side I always keep it in the middle.

All Luxury package cars as well as 2006-2010 Sport package cars have the auto-tilt mirror. 2010-2013 F-Sport cars in Canada also have it, but USA cars do not. It is a part of the memory seat system. If you have memory seats, you also have auto-tilt mirror and power steering column.

As was said, make sure you have the mirror switch in the correct position to enable functionality.
