Code 2714 - The nightmare!!!!
I went from deeply in love to completely disengaged after code 2714. My IS250 was not shift from 3rd. It stayed stock in 3rd and did not go into 4th, 5th nor 6th gear running some errands a random day.
I took my 07 IS250 to the shop and after diagnosing the car they recommended changing following parts:
1. Shift Solenoid Valve SLT
2. Shift Solenoid Valve S1
3. Transmission Oil
4. Transmission filter
After changes were done, I picked up my car at the shop and after driving it for 20 minutes / approximately 20 miles, same issue came across (not shifting 3rd). I was so pissed off.
Ha vent had time to go deeper into finding the root cause of this issue and to be able to fix my car since I have a new job. But I noticed that I can drive the car without any issues and all gears work perfectly but if I drive the car for awhile or a long distance, the same issue come across.
Can this be an electric problem? Is it worth-ed to continue finding a solution rather than just replacing the tranny for a 2nd hand one?
Please help!
