Default Is350 exhaust leak??

Hey guys so i just recently had my Megan midpipe installed about a week or so ago. And today upon a cold start I noticed a funny sound coming from underneath my car around the midpipe area. Im fairly certain I have a leak since my midpipe when it kicks in around 3k rpm sounds kind of flatter now and not really deep like before.

Anyway I'm taking it back to the shop to have it fixed this Monday and I was just wondering if it's safe to drive around like this until then? Thanks guys.

Also it's kind of annoying that right when I'm gonna fix my annoying wheel squeak issue that this happens today.. Ughhhh.

Interesting.. Were you able to drive around still without any problem before fixing it?

I drove it for like almost a month like that without any problems until i notice my exhaust was not loud as before. I could hear the leak on cold starts more. I had to spray water with soap to find where exactly it was comin from.

Yeah I heard it for the first time on a cold start. And now i notice it even more... Plus my exhaust sounds less loud so that kind of sucks I hope it's just something as simple as a leak that can be repaired easily. I'm sure it is but the paranoid guy in me (previous BMW owner) keeps thinking something else might be wrong. Also I don't really wanna throw money at any problems right now, But then again who does?? Lol

It's safe as long as everything is bolted up properly. I'd recommend fixing it correctly with a new gasket and correct torque specs. FYI, I recommend anti-seize on those exhaust bolts/nuts.

I actually just had it done today. I was gonna wait a little longer but I figured it's for the best to just get it done now. The repair was simple, quick , and cheap. It was just a gasket that needed to be replaced on the Megan Mid pipe I had installed about a week or so ago. Only cost me $15 and about 15-20 minutes. Now my exhaust is back to normal
