Invidia Axleback question
Just got my new invidia axleback.
Anyone have a problem with the metal rings it came with? Gasket fits fine, metal rings do not fit on the piping. So the rings had be cut and were fitted fine.
Also, aside, when I'm on idle and I rev up my car I feel the car vibrating/pipes moving around at around 5k RPM. Don't think It happens while I drive though. Anyone experiencing this? Could it be from those rings?
Everything does seem to be tightened up and nothings loose. Any thoughts?

Hey Brokenis,
I had the same issue with the ring as well. The gasket / donut fit fine so I called Invidia and spoke to Gordon Jin. He advised me that the rings weren't supposed to be included and that I should be installed without the ring. This was about 2 months ago. I have been driving without the rings and have had 0 issues and no exhaust leaks.
Also, I hear vibration at 5k rpm as well but in my case, it's just the exhaust sound and not moving pipes.

Interesting... did you guys actually check for exhaust leak? It's strange invidia would include but make no use of it.
I actually feel a pipe moving once I Rev it up to high rpm, I'll take it in for a look
I'm might upgrade to a flange gasket, anyone recommend any?
