Better Ramp Idea
#17
Jack up car, slide ramp under. Best of both worlds. I currently use jack and stands but have.a DIY wooden ramp project for the fall. I might even make a few chocks/dollies to be able to remove the tires.
Problem is, wood gets heavy and not easy to store in above garage door storage.

Fair enough, your opinion and we all have one. Driving is a skill, not everyone has this, and this takes practice and hundreds of hours to do correctly, safely and abide by the laws. Common sense is not the same to everyone, nor does everyone posses, but are expected to. Judge, not everyone can judge distance with speed. Is this fair enough to say? Same goes with perceiving. So your "common sense", too me, is null and void. That's my opinion in a respectful manner.

Damn bro I've been meaning to cut up some wood like that but I'm currently remodeling our bathroom, should be done tomorrow. 2x10's are sick. I should rig something for the driveway cause my front end keeps scraping and I can't stand that. I use wood also to get our boat out the driveway, not fun to do.

I took a 10ft piece and cut them into 2 4' sections and 2 2' sections. Stacked the 2' sections on top and screwed them together. Added a 2x4 at the end to make it hard to roll off the end!
Finished it off by Cutting the edges with a saw to make a nice ramp angle.
Super easy and cheap, and now my low profile jack can slide under without hitting the lip!
