That is not true. I have a 335 and I don't have this problem. The 335 pillars are no way as thick as the IS350.

Haven't noticed. But I'm used to thick Mercedes windshield posts.

I've had a few arguments with my wife when she's looking in the mirror when i'm driving because you can't see anything when the visor is down

or dont put your mirrors like the dmv ppl tell you. put them out at a wider angle. the way the dmv shows you is pointless cause you can see a car in the rearview mirror and in the side mirror at the same time. if you angle the side mirrors wider then you get a better scope

Oh, I thought you were referring to the C pillars, but now that you mention it I also have trouble with the A pillars. I have to move my head forward to make extra sure sometimes.

Ultimate solution might be a Jeep Wranger, with a fold-down windshield leaving no A-pillars.

But no doubt, pillars on modern/safe cars are pretty substantial these days.

Nice that ABC's have been clarified for all. And speaking of stout A-pillars, look at those on from the drivers seat on the Hummer H2 and H3's, very thick.
