Hi,

Just curious if anybody on this forum with a Is250 manual transmission have a click or sqeeck noise whenever you floor your clutch (engine on or off). If yes, how did you fix the problem.? As my local dealership tried greasing the bottom part of the clutch but the click is still there.

I haven't had any problems with this but I know a lot of the 8th generation Civic SI's constantly have this problem. I believe their problem was with their clutch master cylinder. It might not be the same issue, but this thread on 8thcivic might help:

Is the click noise different from the squeak noise? And did greasing clutch help with the squeaking?

I don't have the same squeak noise as those on the 8th civic.

And the click noise that i'm experiencing is totally different and no where near that squeak noise. My dealer tried greasing the clutch and that didn't help.

Also the foreman told me he tried out few other customers IS250 manual cars and so far 4 out of 5 of them have the click noise. I find this hard to believe though.

Can someone point me to the right direction with this.
