Heated Seats question

Move south? I'm still using mine daily. Nothing makes my lower back feel better than sitting on a warm pad.

I find mine less powerful than the ones in my previous car, an Audi S4, but still plenty adequate. The seat ventilation, on the other hand, I find so weak as to be worthless.

You guys say the other cars get so hot it burns after a few minutes... why would that be good? From my minimal use i thought they worked well. I dont want it so hot I have to constantly change the setting.

Because when it's 20 degrees out, I want it to reach max heat ASAP, then I can turn it down to where I'm comfortable.

FWIW, maybe it's best our IS seat heaters are weak. I am thinking the hotter things get, the softer it makes the leather. Which in turn breaks it down faster and wears it out faster. Just a hunch.

Or maybe they are put in weaker heaters because of the thinner/softer leather? I just noticed that the RX and my Accord both had a thicker "leather" than our IS's.

Benz has great heater in their seats. my sisters 2011 GL450 her seats are like fire haha. whats cool is after like a few mins they go down a setting. thank god otherwise my *** would be smokin'.
Our lexus heated seats are quite weak... on the flip side it has cooled seats too which are not that common in cars yet. pretty sure benz doesnt have that as far as i know
