Updating '06 Lexus IS250 SE Navigation ? Please Help !

Hi,

I am buying a '06 Lexus IS250 SE but the navigation dvd hasn't been updated since launch.

I asked Lexus for the latest version but they charge RIDICULOUS prices !

Can someone pls explain how the maps work as I am looking for a South Africa map ? Does Lexus make a dvd for each country or one with all countries ?

If someone could then please provide a link to the latest dvd & instructions on how to update it, it would be so greatly appreciated !!
