ADVICE: Check VSC comes on when I turn car to the right
My Check VSC light (not tire pressure) has been coming on intermittently while driving for the last month or so. I took it to the dealer and they reset the codes, and hoped it would go away. Well, it didn't.
Now, the light comes on only when turning the car to the right. If start the car with the wheels straight ahead or the left-- no light. But, if I start the car with the wheel turned to the right, the warning shows up every time. The warning will also come on when I drive if I take a moderate turn to the right.
As a result, I have no VSC system whatsoever while I'm driving. It's not a great thing in the wintry city of Minneapolis. I'm taking it to Lexus today to have it checked out again...
Has anyone had a similar problem or has any insight into what is happening?

I'm not sure. They told me directly that the codes were all related and were simply the result of the VSC being manually turned off. I have not turned it off though, so I don't get it. He told me if it doesn't go away, I should bring it in again so they can "investigate it further." I think that's dealerspeak for they didn't really do anything the first time except clear out the codes.

Either that, or the service writer was too lazy to walk in back and ask the mechanic. When you bring it in again, ask them to please give you a list of all of the codes that were recorded (each is a letter followed by a four digit number) before they clear them.
