Hi, I just wanted to see a picture of how you have your ipod connected to the head unit whether its from the head phone jack in the center console or some other product your using to connect it. I also would like to see where u have it located if its connected to the head phone jack because i wouldnt want my ipod in that inclosed console I would want it out in the open for easy access. Mike there are a bunch of good information posts throughout the IS forum on all kinds of ipod installations and setup. Many of them are lengthy and quite detailed including lots of close up pics, tips and tricks on getting good install, and even a unique very effective solution from Vaistech. Everything from wireless remote controls to noise suppression to custom mounts.

Unfortunately I don't think you're going to get what you are looking for [re]posted in this new thread. You might get one or two good responses on how someone has their unit setup but it will be a far cry from the wealth of knowledge that I know exists in here because myself and a couple dozen other members contributed to the discussion.

Your questions are pretty involved and I suggest you start with searching the forum to gather and read thru all the results (there will be many) and then ask questions within that particular thread (because you will probably have a few, I know I did).

If you need further help, let me know. If I over-analysed this and you just want to go to Radio Shack and get the connector plug, connect your ipod thru the headset jack, and drop it in the cup holder and off you go, I guess that's your answer.
